ONE WEEK OLD - Puppies First Week

 Xena did well for first time delivery of puppies.  A few hick ups, and few losses.  Guess my number was up when you consider we have lost only 2 puppies in past couple decades. Seems like universe wanted to balance things.

 

All Gainin' - Fat, shiny coats, and happy.  Xena has settled, and into routine.  This first week has been establishing a routine for us all.  The older girls curious, and Grandma Halo insists on helping. 

 

 

 Sadly Iddy Bitty didn't make it passed her first 24 hours.

 

In total Surviving:

1 yellow boy - 14 oz at birth.  2 lbs at One week

1 black boy - 12.8 oz at birth. 1lb 12 oz at One week

1 black girl (star girl/red collar) - 14.2 oz at birth. 2 lbs at One week

1 black girl (yellow collar) - 11.5 oz at birth. 1 lb 11 oz at One week.
